Political Cartoon On the Roosevelt Corallery

This political cartoon is on the Roosevelt Corollary. I know this because the cartoon is labeled the Monroe Doctrine. The cartoonists message is that the Monroe Doctrine and Roosevelt Corollary were like a gun pointed at Europe's face. This is known because the cartoon shows a gun pointed at Europe. Another opinion on the topic might be that it was a good thing because  Europe wouldn't have any problems with America now. The cartoonist used symbolism. The gun represents the Monroe Doctrine and the king represents Europe's powerful empire. The cartoonist also used labeling. The land is labeled Europe and Republican of Santo Domingo. This political cartoon doesn't support my position on American imperialism because it shows it in a negative way.
